MR.KHURAM MASIH, ACCUSED OF BLASPHEMY UNDER SECTION 295B PPC,BAIL PETITION IN HIGH COURT AND TRIAL OF MARTHA BIBI,ACCUSED OF BLASPHEMY UNDER SECTION 295C PPC, IN SESSION COURT LAHORE

In Pakistan the procedural law regarding the blasphemy laws has some special importance regarding investigation.There are two sections of Pakistan penal code ,295B and 295C which are being misused against Minority Community and specifically against Christians.There are thousands families are affected and disturbed by these religious sections of Pakistan Penal Code directly or indirectly.

Unfortunately the section 295B PPC has not been specifically enlisted the Blasphemy Laws that mandatory should be investigated by Superintendence Of Police,during the hearing of bail petition of Mr.Khuram Masih accused of 295B PPC,Honorable Justice Mr.Muzahir Ali Akbar Naqvi passed an order that the investigation mandatory should be conducted by Superintendence Of Police like other blasphemy laws.

This is very good step of Honorable High Court which is going to make it mandatory that the investigation about the offence under section 295B PPC also should be conducted by not less than rank of SP.The Court also admitted during the hearing of bail petition of Mr.Khuram Masih that there is always threats to such accused and also police officials and Courts also under pressure from outsiders.

The accused of 295C Martha Bibi's trial is also being conducted by session Court and agony of the case is being faced by the Martha bibi and her family.The whole family was disturbed and the future of children was dark due to agony of the case.
There are many other cases of blasphemy and many families contacted with LEAD's team and requested for legal and financial support to meet the daily needs of the families and for schooling of these affected families Children.
