Pastor Rehmat Raza has four sons and one daughter.He had one son name Mr.Azeem who got married on 15 April 2012.On dated 15 May 2012 nearly 10 PM went out for outing with his wife Iram bibi.
His wife Iram bibi came home and told the family that her husband Azeem was kidnapped by some unknown persons.After coming to know this sad news Azeem's father ,Pastor Raza Rehmat filed complaint in Police Station Mugal Pura Lahore and Police registered FIR N0478/12.
On dated 17 May 2012 ,the Police Station Gujar Pura ,Lahore got a dead body from a Rohi Nala and got admitted in Mio Hospital and registered FIR No.508/12 under section 302 PPC against unknown persons,after getting information about some unknown dead body family went to hospital and recognized the dead body of Mr.Azeem.
When Pastor Raza and Pastor Mukhtar George observed the behavior of Azeem's wife ,they both doubted on her and told police that Iram wife of Azeem was responsible for this murdered,when police arrested Iram ,after investigation she admitted that she and her brother in law did this sin and murdered Mr.Azeem.
Missionary Pastor Mushtaq Gill ,President LEAD,visited the family and family shared their thoughts that police is not making satisfied investigation and doing proper investigation for justice.they also shared that they demand justice because their son was murdered and they were made assured by LEAD's president for legal support and prayed with the family for Mr.Azeem'soul.
Church should think about this and play a effective role in character building of Christians of Pakistan who are facing discrimination and suffering due to Christian faith which is making Christian community weak day by day financially and also morally.
