Christian woman servant ‘falsely‘ implicated in a theft case ,released on bail

Lahore:A Christian girl has been falsely implicated in a theft case for allegedly stealing the family ornaments articles she had been serving as a servant for over eight years.
LEAD has learned that she was accused of stealing jewelry  worth Pakistani Rupees 550,000 (US$5,560).
Arshad Bibi,35,worked as a domestic servant in a rich Muslim family's house from last eight years which is situated at Muslim Town ,Lahore for payment just Rs.3000(US$30.5) per month.
On 13 February 2013,she was involved in a criminal case of theft and complaint had been lodged against her in Police Station Muslim Town,Lahore FIR No.52/13 under section 380 PPC on the complaint of Master of house lady Zahida Perveen.She lodged complaint that from her house some jewelry ornaments has been stolen from Almari which were under lock up.She told police that she had doubt  her female servant a Christian woman stole those jewelry from her house.
Arshad BiBi told   that the police had abused and tortured her and forced her to confess to having committed the alleged offence of theft.She denied it and said she was not a thief and I did not steal even a single penny from house.
The police without investigating the allegation got registered FIR and arrested Arshad BiBi from her house and sent her Camp jail.

LEAD's Chief Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill was informed about the case and inquired the facts about said allegation which was fake and base on falsehood and filed bail application which was allowed from judicial Magistrate of Model Town and she was released from jail custody on 25 February 2013,now she has joined her family and said thanks to God and LEAD.


LEAD's Chief Advocate Sardar Mushtaq Gill condemns such allegations which were and are being leveled against poor house servants Christians and hope that we shall prove her innocent in trial court.
