An other Christian girl (15) kidnapped and raped for whole one month until she converted to Islam

PATTOKIA young Christian girl was kidnapped on 7 October, 2015, repeatedly raped for a month and forced to convert to Islam and forcibly married to her kidnapper in Serai Cheemba, Phool Nagar, Kasur. With the help of LEAD, she has been recovered after paying 45000 Rupees approximately $ 400 US to kidnappers and provided alternative place to work and live and now the whole family is in a safe place.

The Christian girl was kidnapped and repeatedly raped for one month by a Muslim man Muhammad Shoukat with his accomplices who then falsified marriage documents with her. After the intervention and support of LEAD the girl given back to Christian parents.

Today Rev.Saleem Masih D.S Pattoki, Church of Pakistan, Lahore Diocese, again called to Sardar Mushtaq Gill, Human Rights Defender and requested for legal assistance and further arrangements for the safety of the Christian family because they are still getting threats from the culprits for re-kidnapping the girl from the Christian parents.The victim family was satisfied after meeting with Mr.Gill and assurance of further support in any kind of disturbance and problem.

“Kidnapping Christian girls and forcefully marrying them to a Muslim is the most common procedure for forced conversion to Islam and in such cases the police are reluctant to take any legal initiative against the culprits, “said Sardar Mushtaq Gill, Human Rights Defender.

We at LEAD request you all please lift your voice for the defenseless Christian girls. To target Christian girls in this way is a pleasurable activity for Muslim of Pakistan who wins sympathy of other Muslims by telling them that he has converted Christian girl to Islam.
