LEAD's Concern For Christian Young man Mr.Khuram Masih Alias Sunny who is Falsely Involved in Blasphemy Case Under Section 295 B PPC Whose Punishment Is Life Imprisonment.

There is one more blasphemy case registered against a Christian young man Mr.Khuram Masih son of Rashid Masih presently residence at Rajput Street,Yousaf colony ,Majeed Park,Shahdara town ,Lahore , nearly 24 to 25 years old,married with a Hindu girl name Mst.Rehana Bano Bibi.

On dated 05 December 2011,a blasphemy case under section 295 B PPC,FIR No.1211/11 Police Station Shahdara Town,Lahore ,Punjab ,Pakistan was registered by the complainant Mr.Zulifqar Ali son of Mr.Sajjad Hussain, residence of St.no 8,Majeed Park,Shahdara Town,Lahore.

This is the story of FIR.

The Complainant is the owner of four houses and one of them he has given on rent to Mr.Khuram Masih.On dated 05 December 2011 at 2 PM deliberately and intentionally has burnt pages of Quran.While he was burning the pages some neighbours saw him and forbade him of doing such act burning pages of Quran but he was not stopped from his act of burning pages rather he remained busy in burning pages of Quran.Some neighbours told Complainant and with three other persons,complainant followed the accused but he was not at home.The complainant registered complaint against the accused and police arrested him from house.

Today President LEAD Pastor Mushtaq Gill with LEAD's Lawyers ,visited the jail and met with Mr.Khuram Masih accused of blasphemy who is presently confined in Camp Jail Lahore in Chaki No.40.The accused of Blasphemy Mr.Khuram told LEAD's team that he is falsely involved in this blasphemy case and never did such act of burning pages of Quran.
Mr.Khuram told that he was beaten badly by police after arrest and made compelled to confess the act of burning pages of Quran.He also told that from last three days he never ate any thing and he was never given any thing to eat.He is confined in a cell and he wept bitterly and requested that LEAD will and must support and help him to take out from the jail.
Mr.Khuram also told LEAD that his wife was also in Police custody without any allegation.
Today 09 December 2011 LEAD has filed the bail application in the Court Of Session Judge Lahore in which next date of hearing of bail application is 17 December 2011.
LEAD request all our Christian brothers and sisters to pray for Pakistani Christians who are involved in blasphemy cases and specially for Mr.Khuram.
