A Christian tenant Mr.Sajid Masih ,resident of Burj Muhalam Chak No 35 District Kasur ,Pattoki, wounded by bullet and after attack he has been transferred to Jinah Hospital Lahore.The family has registered complaint in City Police Station Pattoki and the FIR No.481/12 has been registered under section 324 PPC but the version of the complainant has been changed for making weaken to this case.
The family under threats and still receiving death threats from the culprit but Police officials are not doing any legal proceeding against him and not making arrest of the landlord due to his strong connections with influential and political figures of the locality."Told by Mr.Mukhtar Masih brother of bullet wounded".
Mr.Sarwar Masih a local ex-member of union council told that the family is still receiving death threats warnings and he also shared that culprit had attacked like this many times at other Christians also just making them dreadful by his personality and making extracted forcibly some agricultural work on his land.
Missionary Pastor Mushtaq Gill,President/National Director of LEAD has been told by Rev.Saleem Gill D.S of Pattoki Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocese of Bishop Rt.Rev.Dr.Alexander John Malik,such incidents are very common in the locality due to which Christian community feel insecure in Pakistan.He also requested that LEAD should play an effective role in this case and give them legal support. He also appreciated the work of LEAD and prayed for its team.
